Kronfli Duliba Productions often known as KDP are based in Manchester and have produced numerous international/national and regional TV Campaigns over the last 10 years. We deal with all aspects of film making specialising particularly in the combination of live action with animation techniques and special effects. We shoot on every conceivable format, but generally we use 35mm film, Super 16mm film or Hi-Definition video depending on the creative/budget requirements. Every filmic discipline is important from Casting and Set Design through to Lighting and Editing, but 'performance' is so often the key ingredient (after the script of course!). Animation is our background and often colours the way we work from storyboarding and design through to choreography and timing, no matter what technique we are employing. We have always been fans of CGI, it offers so many possibilities, but likewise traditional 2D animation can still seem very fresh as a contrast. Please look on the other pages for more examples of animation styles and techniques.

Still a growing sector in TV advertising, DRTV is so prevalent because it can work so effectively. Just because you are often pushing a phone number doesn't mean that your ads have to look cheap or poorly made. Good production values can make these ads entertaining enough to stand the repeat viewing they will inevitably get. The best thing about DRTV is that you can immediately tell how successful the ad has actually been.

Titles and Idents often use attractive graphic styling and a lyrical sense of flow to capture a mood or feeling. We are often challenged to come up with new distinctive styles or techniques and we find this area of production very rewarding.

Shooting food well can be an important discipline for some clients. Having produced all the Iceland food commercials during the revamped 'Mum's Gone to Iceland' campaign, we became very experienced at it. We also handle all the current Trafford Centre television advertising and regularly make ads for the Metrocentre in Newcastle - two of the largest shopping centres in Europe. Over the years we have worked for many retail clients from Shopping Centres and Supermarkets to DIY stores, sofa companies and phone retailers. Fast turnarounds are often the greatest challenge.
